Woofglam Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: October 1st 2025

1. About Us
Woofglam is a professional dog grooming business based at 183A Kimmage Rd W, Kimmage, Dublin 12, D12 H306 (“we”, “us”, “our”). All bookings and interactions with us are subject to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Booking, Confirmation & Changes

  • Appointments must be booked in advance (via phone, email, website).

  • We will send confirmation of your booking (via email or SMS).

  • If you wish to change or cancel, you must provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee and the deposit will taken to cover the scheduled time lost. 

  • We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule bookings in exceptional circumstances.

3. Payment & Charges

  • Payment is due on completion of the grooming service.

  • We accept [card / cash / other methods].

  • In cases where additional work (e.g. severe matting, extra de-shedding) is required beyond what was quoted, we will notify you and request additional payment before proceeding.

  • Prices are subject to change; current prices will be published on our website or quoted at booking.

4. Health, Safety & Pet Condition

  • You confirm your dog is in good health, free from contagious disease (e.g. skin infections, fleas, ticks) and up to date with vaccinations.

  • In case fleas or ticks are detected, a surcharge of €20 may apply. This covers the shampoo treatment and full disinfection of the grooming salon to keep all dogs safe. In severe cases, the dog will be returned and can book a new appointment with us 3 days after veterinary treatment. Refusal of service due to these circumstances will not result in a deposit refund. Please check your pets carefully a few days before visiting the grooming salon.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if your dog is aggressive, overly anxious, or if undisclosed medical conditions pose risk.

  • Our staff will inspect your dog on arrival; any external wounds, lumps or conditions observed will be brought to your attention before grooming begins.

5. Liability & Disclaimers

  • We use care and expertise, but we are not liable for pre-existing conditions, underlying health issues, or injuries related to severe matting that cannot reasonably be safely removed.

  • Any grooming is done at owner’s risk.

  • We will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot by law be excluded or restricted under Irish law.

6. Photo & Media Use

  • Unless you expressly request otherwise, we may take photographs of your dog before/after grooming for promotional use (website, social media).

  • You can opt out by notifying us in writing or in person at the time of booking.

7. Cancellation, Late Arrivals & No-Shows

  • Late arrival (e.g. more than 15 minutes past appointment) may result in shortened service or cancellation.

  • No-shows or cancellations within less than 48 hours may attract a cancellation fee (up to full service cost).

  • Repeated no-shows will need to give payment in full for future bookings.

8. Refunds & Complaints

  • Given the personal nature of grooming services, refunds for completed services are generally not offered.

  • If you are dissatisfied, notify us immediately on site or within 4 hours, and we will aim to rectify the issue.

  • Formal complaints can be made via email to info@woofglam.ie we will respond within 10 business days.

9. Intellectual Property & Use of Site

  • All content on the WOOFGLAM site (images, text, logos) is our property or licensed. You may not reuse without consent.

  • You agree to use our website lawfully, not to upload harmful material, spam, etc.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We may update or amend these Terms from time to time; such changes will be posted on the website with a revised “Effective Date.”

  • Continued use of our services or the site constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

  • Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
